Driven by the fear of possible annexation as well as the need to re-establish itself in the global gear market, the Argos was developed as an Advanced Heavy Strike gear. Built on the frame of a fire support gear, the Argos incorporates the same targeting systems as those found on the Warrior 4. The Argos is a deadly machine but it is not without its flaws. The combined weight from its armor and armaments tests its V-Engine to the limits of endurance. This results in a low ground speed and reduced maneuverability when compared to other gears In its class.
