The Aphek, like the Bashan, Hamath and Kadesh, is a modular design. Built primarily as a heavy trooper vehicle, it is relatively well armed for its size and function, while remaining fairly mobile. Like most Caprician mounts, the climbing system can be used in close combat with great effect, something many Liberati take great pleasure in. It is normally teamed with Bashan mounts and used for scouting, basic patrols, or specialized trooper roles. Most upgrades to the mount involve additional indirect fire weaponry. While originally these indirect weapons contained non-lethal crowd pacification ordnance, the switch to lethal weaponry was relatively easy.
