Vibroblade

The Gear-sized Vibroblade consists of a hard alloy or ceramite blade connected to a small sonic generator in the hilt. When activated, the generator causes the blade to vibrate at very high frequencies, allowing it to cause greater damage. To preserve energy, the generator is only activated about 5 seconds before use. While often built in the form of a knife, many Vibroblades come in a variety of styles such as hatchets and machetes.
