i think you should not break the fourth wall at the top of the page. So "The namesake machines of the universe setting are the Heavy Gears. They are 12- to 18-foot-tall (3.7 to 5.5 m) machines"
=> "Heavy Gears are 12- to 18-foot-tall (3.7 to 5.5 m) machines"...
juat saying it sounds way better when you write an RPG book to pretend it's all real
